I wake up every morning
I sense that You are always there
For I can feel Your Holy Presence
As Your glory fills the air
I don't know where I would be
If I had to walk alone
I have strength with You right there
Knowing I'm not on my own

I feel the angels over me
They're walking by my side
Through every test of life
Through every victory
They are there with me
I feel the angels over me

Sometimes it seems to me
That You are very far away
But always just in time
You hear me when I pray
Never have You ever failed
To keep Your promises
Through every test of life
My faith it still stands

I sing because I'm happy
I sing because I'm free
For His eye is on the sparrow
And I know He watches over me
